School facility needs to be unveiled
By Heather McDonald
Stevens Point Area Public School District leaders will present results next month of a comprehensive facilities needs study that took nearly a year-and-a-half to complete.
Superintendent Craig Gerlach said administration is finishing work on organizing the analysis off all building needs and costs associated with them; officials expect to share the information with the School Board over the course of two meetings, currently set for Feb. 19 and 26.
“We are concluding meetings with Nexus and working out details …,” he told board members Monday, Jan. 8. “There’s so much there we believe we need to bring parts of it forward (on two dates).”
