Bridget M. Jazdzewski
Bridget M. Jazdzewski, 89, died Dec. 19, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of 49 years of the late Peter S. Jazdzewski of Mill Creek in the Town of Carson, and the mother of John A. (Betty) Jazdzewski, also of Mill Creek. Survivors also included two grandchildren, Alex J. (Andrea) Jazdzewski and Andrew Jazdzewski; three great-grandchildren, John, Arianna, and Ava Jazdzewski; three sisters-in-law, Elsie (Felix) Sroda, Theresa (Edward) Jazdzewski and Adeline (David) Danczyk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, and was the last of her family of nine children.
Bridget farmed with her family until her retirement in 1990. She was an active member of the Ladies Society of St. Bartholomew Church for 50 years; participating in bake sales, picnic and pancake breakfast fundraising events, and altar preparations. In her home, she was known for her welcoming hospitality and her love in sharing scrumptious meals with her engaging smile and open arms of friendship.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday December 26, 2017, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek, with Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
