SPASH

Boys track: Led by four first-place finishes, the Panthers won the Point Invitational Saturday, scoring 86.5 points. Cory Flisakowski (55-meter dash in 6.81 seconds), Josh Garbe (800 run in 1:58.66), Travis Laird (long jump with 21-feet-8) and Chad Erspamer (triple jump with 41-2) all won events. Nate Olson (400 meter in 52.7 seconds) and the 4x400 relay (3:34.39) were second while Chase Kostichka grabbed a pair of thirds (long jump with 20-9.25 and triple jump with 40-8.5). Erspamer (high jump with 5-10), Ricky Trzebiatowski (pole vault with 11-6) and the 4x200 relay (1:37.36) finished fourth.

Girls track: SPASH, behind a trio of second-place finishes, grabbed third place at the Point Invitational last Friday with 40 points. Kim Klosno (400 dash in 1:01.77), Tracy Knippel (triple jump with 34-7) and the 4x400 relay (4:23.22) all took second in events.

Pacelli

Boys track: Nate Swenson finished first in the high jump (6-2) and second in the triple jump (40-8.25) to lead the Cardinals to a seventh place finish at the Point Invitational Saturday. Pacelli scored 21 points.

Girls track: The Cardinals scored three points Friday night at the Point Invitational, finishing 22nd. Pacelli's top finish was a sixth place in the 4x400 relay (4:29.11).

Rosholt

Boys track: The Hornets competed in the Point Invitational Saturday but didn't record a team score because no one finished in the top eight in their events.

Girls track: Rosholt was the runner-up last Friday at the Point Invitational, scoring 41 points to edge SPASH for second place. Jenna Eschenbauch won the 55 hurdles (8.96), Amy Scott was second in the high jump (5-0) and Eschenbauch (high jump with 5-0) and Tami Scott (1600 run in 5:30.34) were third.
