Four hockey teams will square off Friday and Saturday at the 2nd Annual Community Parks Hockey Classic at the K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point.
The Stevens Point Area Senior High, ranked No. 1 in George Baumann's State Hockey Report rankings, faces Appleton in the Classic's opener, Friday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. The second game of the night pits Mosinee against Madison West at 8:15 p.m.
The losers of the two games will face off Saturday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. in the consolation game. Following that game, the winners of the two games will battle in the championship game. There will be an awards presentation following the championship game.
All proceeds from the Hockey Classic will benefit the Community Parks Improvement Committee.
