RECREATION LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL AND BASKETBALL: Registration packets for winter adult volleyball and basketball
are now available at the Stevens Point Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department, 2442 Sims Ave.
The packets can be picked up Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Oct. 2. Registration will
be at the Recreation Department from 1 to 8 p.m., Oct. 3 and 4.

YMCA DOLPHIN SWIM TEAM TO HOLD PARENT MEETING: The Stevens Point Area YMCA is holding an informational
meeting for parents regarding the upcoming swim team session.
Parents of current team members and parents of prospective team members are welcome to attend.
The meeting will be Monday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. in the all-purpose room at the Stevens Point Area YMCA.

LITTLE PANTHER BASKETBALL: The Little Panther Basketball program will hold a basketball training clinic
from 6:30 to 8 p.m.Tuesday nights, Oct. 9 - Nov. 6, at McKinley Elementary School gym.
The program is for boys entering third or fourth grade that would like an opportunity to improve their skills
in basketball. All skill and experience levels are welcome to attend.
Athletes will receive individual instruction on fundamentals and rules of the game. They will participate in
defensive and offensive stations and games. There will be equal playing time for all athletes.
The cost of the clinic is $20 and includes a basketball, T-shirt and instruction. All proceeds go to the Panther
Boy's basketball program.
The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 28.
