Molly Simkins led the team with 10 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and seven steals. Jamie Krutza added 21 points and eight steals for the team and Lindsey Allen chipped in with nine rebounds. ROSHOLT Girls basketball: The Hornets crushed Manawa, 40-21, on Thursday, Nov. 15. ALMOND-BANCROFT Girls basketball: The Eagles defeated Wautoma, 62-50, on Monday, Nov. 19. Center Heather Wittig led the team with 27 points and 12 rebounds, while Christyn Johnson chipped in with 11 points and five assists. Courtney Newby had five assists and six steals. The team lost to Amherst, 51-40, on Friday, Nov. 16. Johnson had 16 points and Wittig had 12 points and nine rebounds. Newby had five assists for the Eagles.
