Baseball: The Panthers dropped an 8-5 decision to Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday, May 17, then tied with Rapids for the Wisconsin Valley Conference title by beating Antigo, 15-0, Friday, May 18.

In the WIAA regionals, the Panthers beat Waupaca, 8-3, on Tuesday, advancing to the regional finals at Hortonville Friday.
Softball: The Panthers won the Wisconsin Valley Conference with a 7-0 win over Antigo on Thursday, May 17.
On Tuesday, the Panthers defeated New London, 4-2, in the WIAA regionals to advance to the regional finals Thursday, May 24, against Wisconsin Rapids.
Golf: The Panthers advanced in the WIAA Regional at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton Tuesday and will play Tuesday, May 29, at De Pere in the sectionals.
Boys Tennis: The Panthers No. 1 and No. 3 doubles teams advanced in the WIAA subsectional at Appleton West Tuesday. Zach Newhouse and Matt Schrader compete at No. 1 and Ted Baier and Ross Rettler are at No. 3. The sectional was scheduled for Thursday, May 24, in Neenah.

Pacelli

Softball: The Cardinals lost to Wisconsin Rapids Assumption, 9-3, in WIAA regional action on Thursday, May 17.
Baseball: The Cardinals defeated Iola-Scandinavia, 15-1, Tuesday to advance. They were scheduled to meet Rosholt on Wednesday in the WIAA regional game, but no results were received.

Amherst

Golf: The Amherst golf team came up one stroke short in a playoff round to suffer its first loss of the year on Tuesday, May 22, in WIAA regional play at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconisn Rapids.

Amherst and Manawa were tied after regulation with scores of 349, forcing a playoff. Manawa won the first playoff hole with 17 strokes, compared to Amherst's 18 to clinch the regional championship.

Both teamsadvance to the sectional on Tuesday, May 29, at Laona, as does the third-place finisher, Oshkosh Lourdes, which shot a 352.
Amherst was led by Brian Pionkowski who shared medallist honors with Manawa's Brian Gnadt, with an 83. Other scores for Amherst were Matt Clinton, 86; Jeff Cloninger and Jeremy Shert, 90; and Andy Harvey, 95.
Softball: The Falcons lost to Tri-County, 4-2, in WIAA regional action on Thursday, May 17.

Rosholt

Baseball: The Hornets defeated Port Edwards, 4-1, Friday in the WIAA regionals and then beat Tigerton, 9-4, on Tuesday. They were scheduled to play Pacelli Wednesday. No report on the game was received by press time.

Almond-Bancroft

Softball: The Eagles defeated Wild Rose, 12-2, in WIAA regional action Thursday, May 17. Wisconsin Rapids Assumption handed the Eagles an 8-1 loss on Tuesday.
