Boys track: The Panthers took first place in the Point Track Invitational Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, scoring 101.5 points. D.C. Everest was second with 70, followed by Marshfield with 64, Waukesha West with 56 and Green Bay Notre Dame with 31.

The Panthers got firsts from Nate Olson in the 400-meter dash in 51.65 seconds and the long jump at 22 feet, Chris Solinsky in the 3,200-meter run in 9:20.81, Chad Erspamer in the triple jump at 43 feet, 0.25 inch and the 4x200-meter relay team.

Olson actually led the Panthers to a sweep of the first three places in the long jump. He was followed by Chase Kostichka and Steve Baumhofer.
In the 1,600-meter run, Josh Kujawa came in third followed by Kyle Patoka in fourth.

Baumhofer also had a third in the high jump and Kostichka a third in the triple jump.

The 4x400-meter relay team took a fourth, Rick Trzebiatowski was sixth and Ryan Fohrman tied for eighth in the pole vault, Cheng Yang was eighth in the triple jump and Adam Dow was eighth in the shot put.

Girls track: The Panthers captured second place at the Point Invitational, with their 70 points falling two short of the 72 collected by D.C. Everest. Rosholt was third with 56, Green Bay Notre Dame fourth with 52 and Kaukauna fifth with 38.

The Panthers lone victory came in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:50.49.

Taking second place were Mallory Fredrickson in the 55-meter low hurdles and Amber Perri in the 400-meter dash.

Jackie Kropp took third place in the 800-meter run, and the 4x400-meter relay team captured third in that event.

Monica Asuquo finished fourth in the triple jump and fifths went to Kim Klosno in the 400-meter dash and pole vault, Julie Grestner in the long jump and Laine Willkom in the 1,600-meter run.

Meila Moore took sixth in the 55-meter dash, Judy Pumper was sixth in the triple jump and Abby Ofori-Amoah was sixth in the shot put. Sherine Watkins rounded out the Panthers scoring with a seventh in the 55-meter dash.

Boys track: Greg Snow produced the only points for the Cardinals in the Point Track Invitational, tying for eighth place in the pole vault.

Girls track: Emily Swanson scored the Cardinals' only points in the Point Track Invitational, garnering four for her fifth-place finish in the 55-meter low hurdles. Those points resulted in a tie for 19th place with Gibraltar and Gillett.

Rosholt

Girls track: The Hornets took a surprising third in the Point Track Invitational Saturday behind two first-place finishes by Jenna Eschenbauch. The Hornets collected 56 points.

Eschenbauch won the 55-meter low hurdles in 8.94 and the high jump with 5 feet, 2 inches.

Tami Scott took second in the 1,600-meter run, plus a third in the 3,200-meter run.

Amy Scott finished third in the high jump.

In the relays, the 4x400 team took fourth and the 4x200 team took fifth.
Steph Wierzba added a fifth for the Hornets in shot put, and Kendra Kazemba a sixth in the 55-meter low hurdles.
