The sixth annual CenterPoint Marketplace 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is set to take place on Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29, in the municipal parking lot at Crosby Avenue and Water Street, the same location as last year, north of Bank One in downtown Stevens Point.
The tournament will contribute more than $30,000 to the following athletic groups: Boy's and Girl's Point Hoops Clubs, Pacelli High School athletic programs, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point athletic programs, Stevens Point Area Senior High School basketball programs, city of Stevens Point recreational basketball programs, and the YMCA youth sports programs.
Registration is under way with 22 divisions for males and females of all ages. Once again, there will be the Co-ed Division and the Corporate Division, which consists of players from businesses and corporations competing for the traveling trophy, the Corporate Cup.
Entry fees are $72 for teams 14 and younger, $96 for teams in brackets 15 and older and $108 for Corporate Division teams. Entry fees include T-shirts for all four members of the team, and awards for all division champions.
Tournament entry forms are now available at WIFC, Subway and the CenterPoint Marketplace, or can be downloaded at our Web site at www. cp-mp.com. Entry deadline is Friday, July 13.
