LISACK CAPTURES WEIGHTLIFTING TITLE: Tom
Lisack of Stevens Point took first place in the Master's Division at the Oshkosh Open Bench Press competition on
Jan. 27.
Lisack had a winning lift of 380 pounds in the division, which includes ages 40-49.
The winning lift came on his final of three lifts. Competition included 65 to 70 lifters and was limited to the
bench press.
Lisack has been lifting since 1978 and trained at the YMCA since 1984. After suffering
a rotator cuff injury last year, he worked with a trainer at the Y to develop exercises to help him recuperate
from the injury while continuing to train.
He hopes to break the 400-pound mark at a Feb. 17 meet in Marshfield. He is an
English instructor at Stevens Point Area Senior High School,teaching American literature and Shakespeare. He also
is a driver's education instructor.

KEDROWSKI HONORED AGAIN: Karin Kedrowski, a 5-5 sophomore guard at Ripon College, was named the Midwest Women's Conference
Player of the Week for Feb. 5.
Kedrowski, Plover, who graduated from Pacelli High School, led the Red Hawks in
scoring in all three games during the period ending Feb. 5 as the team went 2-1, handing Lake Forest its first
MWC loss of the season.
Kedrowski scored 32 points against Lake Forest, tying her career high. Against
Beloit she led the Red Hawks with 16 points and scored 19 in the loss at Illinois Central. In the three games,
she shot 22 of 40 from the field, 55 percent.
