Rosholt comes back to edge Tigerton, 3-2

The Rosholt High School baseball team came back to take a 3-2 victory over Tigerton Tuesday, April 10, at the Rosholt Fair diamond.
Dane Zdroik's two-run double in the fifth inning led the way for the Hornets.

"We played pretty good defense but we need to get our hitters going," Hornet coach Jack Brooks said.

The Hornets got a solid pitching performance from Brad Zdroik, who gave up two runs on five hits while striking out seven and walking four.

"He struggled the whole game," Brooks said. "But he got the job done."
Randy Printz and Brad Zdroik each collected two hits to pace the Hornets at bat. Rosholt had seven hits in the game.

On Monday, the Hornets beat Bowler, 8-3, as John Stanislawski pitched a three-hitter in a complete-game. He didn't give up any earned runs, struck out five and walked four.

Hitting-wise, Printz had three hits including a double, and Dane Zdroik, Tom Stanislawski and Jake Zakrzewski also each had a double.
