Advertising Rep. 3 picked up one game in the standings on The Sports Guy while Advertising Rep. 2 continues his surge toward the top three. The high school state playoffs are in the semifinal round, leaving little time to pick the preps. Because of space considerations, the top four of our seven guessers appear in the paper every week. But all seven publish their picks for the entire world to see on the The Gazette's Web site, www.pcgazette.com.

Here's our comments:

The Sports Guy:
1) Clock strikes midnight for Cinderella Preble. 2) Last team even close to Portage County goes down to Spring Valley. 4) If Badgers can pull out this one, that weedeater Independance Bowl is still within reach. 5) Battle of the overrated teams goes to the Cornhuskers. 6) A week after being the hero against Minnesota's porous secondary, it's Freeman with three catches for 32 yards. 7) Missing Marshall means much more for the Rams without Warner.

7) Who said Dayne wouldn't pan out.
