Sixers to host annual Firecracker Classic Riverfront Rendezvous isn't the only event this week along Stevens Point's riverfront. The Stevens Point American Legion Post 6 baseball team hosts the annual Firecracker Classic at Bukolt Park with games Saturday through Tuesday. The Sixers kick off the round-robin tournament Saturday, facing Worthington, Ohio at 11 a.m. Post 6 plays twice on Sunday, taking on De Pere at 5 p.m. and Arlington Heights at 8 p.m. The Sixers then face Bloomington, Minn. Monday at 8 p.m. and close the classic with a 5 p.m. contest Tuesday against Appleton.
