Sandra J. "Sandy" Retzki, 70, 8052 Standing Rocks Road, Amherst, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.
Memorials in her name will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Retzki was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Illinois, a daughter of the late John and Angeline (Nachman) Piecuch. She attended local schools, graduating from P. J. Jacobs High School in 1959.
She was married to Leo Retzki on Sept. 29, 1962, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. After marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point.
She worked for Sentry Insurance for a number of years.
She was a member of the St. Anne's Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Steve (Sandy), Custer, Mike (Gail), Amherst, Dan (Drea Davisson), Appleton, and David, Spring Green; one brother, Kenneth (Brenda) Rodery, Sikeston, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.
