| Carl B. Glodowski Carl B. Glodowski, 91, Whiting, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Jude Dioka officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass. A parish rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mr. Glodowski was born Feb. 8, 1920, in the town of Stockton, a son of the late Alex and Mary (Sikorski) Glodowski. He grew up on the family farm. He was married to Regina Biadasz on April 23, 1949. She died on Jan. 21, 1990. He retired from farming in 1985, and continued to help his son with the farm for several years after his retirement. He was married to Selma Studinski on June 17, 1992. Survivors include his wife, Selma; three children, Mel Glodowski, Riverton, Utah, Eugene (Karen), Amherst, and Emil (special friend Sandy Omernick), Stevens Point; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Glodowski; eight stepchildren, Richard (Jill) Studinski, Marie (Rick) Rossier, Shirley (Jose) Escamilla, Joe (Sue) Studinski, Linda (Ron) Liebe, Jerry Studinski, Delores Wampole and Allen (Lois) Studinski; two sisters, Angela Skarzynski and Loretta Shamrowicz; 16 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Tony; four brothers; and six sisters. |
