Ona J. Stark, 78, Plover, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Zacherl Funeral Home in Fond du Lac. Entombment was in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.
Visitation was at the funeral home Tuesday, Dec. 27, and Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Mrs. Stark was born Dec. 11, 1933, in Garrison, N.D., a daughter of the late Alfred and Magdalena (Walters) Sommerfeld.
She was married to Ervin M. Stark on Feb. 27, 1954, in Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon. He died on April 6, 2011.
She worked at Pizza Hut and St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
She moved to Plover in 1997.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Stark, Fond du Lac, Carol Hilt (Sonny), North Fond du Lac, and Patricia (Wayne Schutz) Stark, Plover; one son, James (Michelle Stilson), Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Robert Walters, Daniel Sommerfeld and Jerry (Sharon) Sommerfeld; one sister, Darlene Darrow; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her stepmother, Gertrude Payne.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Keith; and one grandson.
