June M. Fitzgerald-Gibson-Gilbert, 82, Stevens Point, died Monday, Dec. 12, at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Archie's in Stevens Point.
Mrs. Fitzgerald-Gibson-Gilbert was born May 28, 1929, in Chicago, a daughter of the late Gerald and Harriette (Fred) Fitzgerald. She went to school in Chicago, Ill.
She moved to Stevens Point in 1974 to marry Don "Big D" Gilbert.
She worked for the Stevens Point School District as a substitute secretary for three years. She had resided at the Stevens Point Care Center for the past seven years.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, John Jr. (Rosemary), Tim, Chicago, Ill., and Terry, Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Marjorie Mazurk, Las Vegas, Nev.; and one grandson.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert.
