Marilyn E. Strebe Marilyn E. Strebe, 77, Amherst, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Amherst, with the Rev. James Scott officiating. Burial will be in spring at the Lower Amherst Cemetery in the town of Amherst. Visitation will be held at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the service. Condolences may be offered online at www.hollyfuneralhome.com. Mrs. Strebe was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Amherst, a daughter of the late George and Winnie (Aldridge) Penney. She was married to Malcolm Wennesberg. He preceded her in death. She was married to Vilas "Pat" Strebe. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Mick (Karen) Wennesberg, Tell City, Ind., and Mark Strebe, Amherst; two brothers, Roger Penney and Bobby (Sandy) Penney; and four grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Garth Penney.
