| Roger D. Pankratz Roger D. Pankratz, 63, Milladore, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Blenker, with the Rev. Augustine Bentil officiating. Burial will be in St. Kilian's Cemetery in Blenker, with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 468 of Milladore. Visitations will be at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the Mass. Condolences may be offered online at www.rembsfh.com. Mr. Pankratz was born March 10, 1947, in Marshfield, a son of the late Peter and Gladys (Wunrow) Pankratz. He was a 1965 graduate of Auburndale High School. He served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard from January to May 1967. He was married to Susan M. Altmann on May 11, 1968, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Blenker. He worked at Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin Rapids until they purchased his wife's family's dairy farm in 1980. He was a member of Pioneer Bank Board of Directors for 25 years. He collected International Harvester (IH) toy tractors. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4646 of Junction City and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Badger Aerie 624 in Marshfield. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy (Lynn) and Shawn (Kim), both of Milladore; one daughter, Tricia (Jim) Wiskerchen Jr., Rudolph; two brothers, Jerome (Sue), Auburndale, and Darrell (Carol), Arpin; one sister, Betty (Richard) Herman, Mosinee; and nine grandsons. |
