Elaine R. Marschke, 92, North Ridge Assisted Living, Stevens Point, died there Sunday, March 7, 2010, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Potaczek officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Rib Lake at a later date.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Mrs. Marschke was born Jan. 10, 1918, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Raymond and Regina (Malek) Pendergast. Her family moved to Rib Lake, where she grew up and attended the local schools.
She was married to Robert Marschke on May 29, 1939. He died on Sept. 28, 1947.
After the marriage they settled in Stevens Point.
She operated a rooming house until accepting a job at Worzella Publishing. She worked as a proof reader until retirement.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Benson, Plover; one son, Allan (Diane), Stevens Point; six siblings, Archie Pendergast, Plover, Francis Pendergast, Whiting, Robert "Doc" (Virginia) Pendergast, Wausau, Rita (Raymond) Stepaniak, Stevens Point, Grace Brown, Texas, and Patrick Pendergast, Menominee, Mich.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers.
