Arnold J. Konkol

Arnold J. "Arnie" Konkol, 88, a town of Stockton native, died Sunday, July 25, 2010.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Milwaukee. Committal will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Visitation will be at Becker Ritter Funeral Home in Brookfield from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.

Memorials to the charity of one's choice are appreciated.

Mr. Konkol was born March 31, 1922, in the town of Stockton, a son of the late John and Teckla (Jablonski) Konkol.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He was married to Evelyn Gostomski for 63 years.

He was a longtime resident of Greendale and a 36-year employee of Allen-Bradley, retiring 28 years ago.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael (Diane), Ronald (Susan) and Brian (Debbie); and four grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Harold, Orville, Norman and Vernon; and two sisters, Ernestine and Geraldine.
