Myron M. Herman

Myron M. Herman, 88, a resident at Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover the last several years, and a former Arnott resident, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Robert Konkol officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.

Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at

Mr. Herman was born Nov. 20, 1921, in the town of Stockton, a son of the late John and Mathilda (Gosh) Herman.

He was married to Ernestine Laskowski on Feb. 5, 1945, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She died on Nov. 8, 1995.

After the marriage they lived in Arnott all their married life.

He was a milk hauler, custom farm worker, cash crop farmer and was in the cattle truck hauling business until his retirement.

Survivors include one brother, John Jr. (Lucille), Stevens Point; two sisters, Ramona Konkol, Stevens Point, and Ann (John) Britz, Stevens Point; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Edward (Philomen) Rogowski.
