Julia M. Franczyk, 90, a resident of Lyngblomsten Care Center in St. Paul, Minn., since October 2004 and a former Stevens Point resident, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
A private family memorial service and burial will be held in Chicago.

Mrs. Franczyk grew up in the Pullman neighborhood of Chicago, a daughter of the late Martin and Rose Czop. She was a 1938 graduate of Pullman High School.
She lived in Stevens Point from 1948 to 1972 before moving to Minneapolis.
Survivors include one son, Jim; and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; one son, Richard; one sister, Mary; and one brother, Walter.
