Mary Brandt

Mary Brandt, 47, Leadville, Colo., the mother of two Stevens Point men, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home in Rhinelander, with Deacon Dick Meier officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

A memorial has been established in her name.

Ms. Brandt was born March 19, 1963, in Rhinelander, a daughter of the late Judson and Margot (Rutledge) Moeller. She graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1981 and from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1984 with a master's degree in education.

She was married to Paul Brandt in 1987 and they had two children together.

She was a teacher at Rib Mountain Elementary School in Wausau until 1992, and then stayed at home to raise her children.

Survivors include two sons, David and Adam, both of Stevens Point; her partner in life, Jack Riley; three brothers, John Moeller, Seymour, Tom Moeller, Vero Beach, Fla., and Jim Moeller, Marshfield; and two sisters, Rita Vasquez, Sacramento, Calif., and Susan Maastricht, Silver Lake.
