| Arnold H. Adams Arnold H. Adams, 83, 825 Whiting Ave., Stevens Point, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Port Edwards, with the Rev. John Swing officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services. Ritchay Funeral Home of Wisconsin Rapids assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.ritchayfuneralhome.com. Mr. Adams was born March 30, 1927, in Stratford, a son of the late Felix and Ethel (Raleigh) Adams. He was married to Adeline Koller on Nov. 22, 1951, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Blenker. He was employed by the Port Edwards Paper Mill (Domtar) in Port Edwards for 35 years, retiring as a shipping foreman. Survivors include his wife, Wisconsin Rapids; three daughters, Mary (Tom) Rayome, Wisconsin Rapids, and Tina (Dan) Sivek and Kathy (John) Hartman, both of Stevens Point; four sons, Joseph (Jerra), Custer, Jerome and John (Lynn), both of Amherst, and Andrew, Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters, Marie Sattler, Wausau, Cordelia (Phil) Gillette, Estes Park, Colo., and Sister Cordelle Adams FSPA, La Crosse; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. |
