Faith Angelica Weller, 25, Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010.
A celebration of her life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at The Jensen Center in Amherst, with a memorial service at 5:30 p.m.
A memorial has been established for The Portage County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
Miss Weller was born July 4, 1984, in Amherst, a daughter of Simon Weller and Susan Meyers-Melody and Michael Melody. She graduated from Amherst High School in 2002 and from Smith College in 2007, with degrees in economics and math.
Survivors include her parents, Simon Weller, Amherst, and Susan Meyers-Melody and Michael Melody, Florida; her siblings, Jasmine (Ryan) Haroldson and Avalon (Matthew) Brodsky, both of Little Chute, and Eden (Jehna) Weller, Oshkosh; her stepsiblings, Rachel (Robert) Armstead and Ian Melody, both of Florida, and Vivian (Chris) Ortecho, Oregon; her grandmother, Mary Meyers, Treasure Island, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
