Raymond C. Thompson
Raymond C. Thompson, 88, rural Wild Rose, stepfather of two area women, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at the Wild
Rose Memorial Hospital.
Services were held Saturday, Jan. 9, at St. John Lutheran Church in Almond.
His body was donated to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Marshfield.
Mr. Thompson lived and worked in the Milwaukee area until his retirement. He then worked at Ho-Chunk Casino for
a few years.
Survivors include three sons, Tom (Deanna), Oshkosh, Harold "Bud" (Patricia), Red Granite, and Ken (Margaret),
Wisconsin Rapids; four stepdaughters, Donna (Bill) Stehling, Sauk City, Linda (Gary) Russell, Plainfield, Joan
(Ron) Kenowski, Stevens Point, and Peggy (George) Harris, Montello; 32 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and
four great-great-grandchildren. |
