Jane Andrea Simons, 5652 Sandpiper Drive, Stevens Point, died at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, with her family by her side.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Wausau.

Mrs. Simons was born in Providence, R.I., a daughter of the late Mary and Francis Heffernan.
She was married to Donald Simons on Oct. 7, 1950.
They lived in Milwaukee and Durham, N.H., before moving to Wausau in 1965.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mary (Terry) Hackett, Stevens Point; one son, Ted (Pam), Raleigh, N.C.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
