| Lillian M. Sarnowski Lillian M. Sarnowski, 87, Whiting, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Plover from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass. The St. Bronislava Rosary Society will combine with the parish rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mrs. Sarnowski was born Aug. 15, 1922, in the town of Hull, a daughter of the late Stanley "Ed" and Magdeline (Felckowski) Bukowski. She was married to Raymond Sarnowski on April 23, 1940, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma. He died Sept. 26, 1967. The couple later settled in Stevens Point. She worked for the Stevens Point Public School System in the food service department for more than 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the St. Bronislava Rosary Society. Survivors include four daughters, Shirley (James) Rehman, West Bend, Ruth Cioni, Minneapolis, Minn., Joan (Randy) Rulland, Chicago, Ill., and Mary Beth (Jon Miskowski) Sarnowski, Madison; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her friend, Edith Parks Pozorski. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Barney, Alois, Edward, Sylvester and Casimer Bukowski; and two sisters, Lucille Korleski and Therese Weisbrod. |
