| Emerick 'Butch' Orlikowski Emerick "Butch" Orlikowski, 79, 1609 Fourth Ave., Stevens Point, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at the Portage County Health Care Center. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin C. Louis officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the services. A general rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial in his name will be established at a later date. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mr. Orlikowski was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Benjamin and Pauline (Karashinski) Orlikowski. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1948, the same year he won a state wrestling championship. He worked for Konkol Logging Camp in Orofino, Idaho, for a number of years. He also worked in Milwaukee and for the city of Chicago for more than 40 years. Survivors include two brothers, Myron "Mike" (Jeannette), Custer, and Gerald, Schofield; two sisters, Ramona (Edward) Kubicki and Lucille Kubicki, both of Stevens Point; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by five sisters, Romona Kobishop, Dorothy Edwards, Irene Waukones, Evelyn Orlikowski and Patsy Mrozinski. |
