Lorraine R. (Suplicki) Nowak, 86, formerly of 1823 California Ave., Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev Kevin C. Louis officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass. St. Peter's Rosary Society will pray a rosary at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nowak was born Sept. 25, 1923, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Kutella) Suplicki. She attended local elementary schools. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to Alfred Nowak on Oct. 31, 1944, at St. Peter Catholic Church. He died on June 29, 1979.
After the marriage they settled in Stevens Point.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Peter's Rosary Society Rose 3 for more than 50 years.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandy (Bob) Trzebiatowski, Susan (Tim) Pascavis and Cheri (Joel) Anderson, all of Stevens Point, and Vicki Ives, Rhinelander; one son, Michael (Shari Thompson), Stevens Point; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by an infant son, three sisters and two brothers.
