Edward J. Lodes, 68, Sherwood, father of a Stevens Point woman, died at home Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, after a battle with cancer.
A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton, with the Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
Visitation will be at the Wichmann Funeral Home in Menasha from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.
A memorial fund in his name is being established.

Mr. Lodes was born Jan. 17, 1941, in Chilton, a son of the late Norbert and Aurelia (Steiner) Lodes.
He was married to Sandra Priebe in 1963. She died in 1992.
He was married to Pat Kempf on Sept. 6, 1997.
He graduated from business college and worked his way up from an entry level position to be the purchasing director at Pacon Corporation. He worked there for 40 years and retired in 2000.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; four daughters, Penny Lodes, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Pam (Kraig) Hoene, Lebonon, Ore., Carrie (significant other, Tom Taggart) Schulke, Gilbert, Ariz., and Cindy (Joe) Gemza, Stevens Point; one son, Dean (significant other, Julie Vosters), Appleton; three sisters, Ruth Ann (Jerry) Schmitz, Mary (Mitz) Hirano and Kathy (significant other, Tom Kleczka) Lodes; and six grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry.
