| Ruth A. Jadack Ruth A. Jadack, 79, formerly of Milladore, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore, with the Rev. Augustine Bentil officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass. The family will designate a memorial at a later date in lieu of flowers. Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City is assisting the family. Condolences may be offered online at www.rembsfh.com. Mrs. Jadack was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Auburndale, a daughter of the late Nicklos and Christina (Palan) Smazal. She attended Cary School in the town of Day in Wood County. She helped her parents and her aunt and uncle, Charles and Anna Obst, with their farm work while she was growing up. She was married to Edward Jadack on Oct. 29, 1947. He died in 1990. They took over operations of his home farm at 1359 County Road S, Junction City. For a time she also worked for a potato farm near Junction City. Survivors include two daughters, Marlene (Dale) Linzmeier and Jodie (Lawrence) Larsh, both of Milladore; one son, Wayne, Junction City; two sisters, Dorothy Bertram, Plover, and Darlene (Bernard) Mesner, Marshfield; one brother, Harvey (Donna) Smazal, Marshfield; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, four brothers and one sister. |
