David George Hope Jr., 61, Madison, a former Portage County resident, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, in Madison.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday at Cress Funeral Home in Madison, with the Rev. Ralph Leavitt officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a. m. Friday until the service.
A donation to a charity of one's choice would be preferred in lieu of flowers.

Mr. Hope was born May 16, 1948, in Milwaukee, a son of the late David G. and Edith Rose (Hertzfeld) Hope Sr.
He was married to Penny Leavitt.
Survivors include his wife; one stepdaughter, Jennifer (Roberto Rivera) Leavitt-Moy; and two brothers, his identical twin Dana W. and Peter J. "Cowboy".
He was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy R.
