Ryan Hagen

Ryan Hagen, 62, Nelsonville, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 15, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Nelsonville Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dwight Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Donations can be made to Fox Valley Trout Unlimited in lieu of flowers.

The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at

Mr. Hagen was born Sept. 3, 1947, in West Allis, a son of the late Rolland and Jesse (Borgen) Hagen. He attended schools in the Milwaukee area.

He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UW-SP) and UW-Oshkosh, receiving a master's degree in business administration.

He worked in managerial and accounting positions. He was the owner of Hagen Hackle & Tackle and later in his career was a computer programmer.

He was married to Miriam Marold of Menasha on Sept. 14, 1974. She died in March 2005.

He was married to Patricia (Alm) Raddatz of Nelsonville on Aug. 31, 2008.

They lived on the Tomorrow River.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; one son, Brad, Gilbert, Ariz.; one daughter, Amy (Tim) Boocher, Pine River; one sister, Rhonda (Dave) Smerchek, Union Grove; four stepchildren, Amy (Mark) Pearson, Carrie (Roy) Wierzba, Kristin (Chris) Deptula and Timm (Michelle) Raddatz; three grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.
