Norman W. Gburek, 60, Athens, a Stevens Point native, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Memorial Health Center in Medford.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun, with the. Rev Wesley Janowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.

Mr. Gburek was born Nov. 22, 1949, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Joseph and Sophie (Pawlik) Gburek. He attended a one-room grade school called Rockland School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
He was never married.
He worked as a truck driver.
Survivors include four brothers, David (Barbara), Mosinee, Clarence (Audrey), Marengo, Ill., Alfred (Sandra), Arbor Vitae, and Jerome, California; three sisters, Anita (Myron) Kedrowski, California, Jean Conrad, Oregon, and Sally (Tom) Webb, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, James.
