Harold F. Choate, 94, Point Manor, died at his residence Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.
A private graveside service will be held later at Forest Cemetery.
Boston Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Choate was born Nov. 19, 1915, in Sheboygan, a son of the late Frank and Emma (Densch) Choate.
He joined the U.S. Army on Feb. 12, 1942, at Fort Sheridan, Ill. He received an honorable discharge on Jan. 10, 1946, at Fort McCoy.
He worked for Northwest Liquor for more than 24 years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
