Cora Mae Turner, 88, Nekoosa, a former Bancroft and Plainfield area resident, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at the Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Nekoosa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gasperic Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Monday until the services.
Mrs. Turner was born Nov. 16, 1921, daughter of Alfred and Cora (Nigh) Rozell.
She was married to James Turner on Aug. 9, 1941. He died on May 4, 2008.
They farmed in the Plainfield and Bancroft areas for many years and then moved to Nekoosa in 1957.
She was a housewife.
Survivors include one son, William (Patricia), Nekoosa; one granddaughter, Ashley Turner, Wisconsin Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
