| Bryce P. 'Cob' Sigourney Bryce P. "Cob" Sigourney, 84, Hancock, father of two Plainfield residents, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the United Church of Christ in Hancock, with the Rev. Yul Kwon officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Coloma. Visitation will be held at the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com. Mr. Sigourney was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Coloma, a son of the late Frank and Bertha (Pierce) Sigourney. He was married to Blanche G. Howard on Nov. 15, 1952, in the United Church of Christ in Hancock. He was employed for 37 years by the Port Edwards Paper Mill. He was an active member of the United Church of Christ in Hancock and the Rogers Oestreich American Legion Post 343 of Coloma and Hancock. He was manager of Little League and manager of Hancock baseball team for many years. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Mitchell (special friend, Patti), Plainfield, and Kevin (Jackie) and Corey, both of Coloma; two daughters, Eileen Sigourney, Oak Creek, and Charlene (Jim) Small, Plainfield; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Edward F.; one sister, Ida Norquist; and three brothers, Garth, Frank and Donald. |
