Herbert John Plawman, 58, Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Bancroft, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, as a result of an automobile crash in Adams County.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
Mr. Plawman was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of Kenneth Plawman and the late Beverly (Alloway) Plawman.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Guam.
His marriages to Vicki Meier and Debbie Zimmerman ended in divorce.
He worked as a dump truck driver for Tork, Haessly and Bassuener Excavating and also worked in maintenance at McCain Foods.
Survivors include his father, Tripoli; two sons, Shayne and Kenneth (Kim Helke), both of Wisconsin Rapids; two stepsons, Brett Weeks, Wisconsin Rapids, and Brian (Rochelle) Weeks, Marshfield; one brother, Jeff (Deb), Merrill; two sisters, Claudia (Guy) Caves, Mukwonago, and Susan Coerper, Kaukauna; two granddaughters; and three stepgrandsons.
