Michael 'Mickey' Lutz

Michael "Mickey" Lutz, 64, formerly of 1333 Matilda St., Stevens Point, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at his home in Plover. He was under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Potaczek officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services. A parish rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials in his name in lieu of flowers may be made to Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.

Mr. Lutz was born May 23, 1945, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Elmer and Clara (Repinski) Lutz.

He worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, delivering newspapers for more than 35 years.

He was frequently seen fishing on McDill Pond, bowling and eating out.

Survivors include one brother, Eugene Laszewski, Stevens Point; two sisters, Alice (Harold) Krumrei, Stevens Point, and Patricia (Rhody) Bannach, Junction City; nine nieces, Debbie, Peggy, Barbara, Linda, Karen, Lori, Suzanne, Lisa and Rebecca; and three nephews, Jeffrey, Tom and Derek.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Donald.
