Violette M. Kumm

Violette Muriel Kumm, 77, town of Seneca in Wood County, a Junction City native, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Timothy Wenger officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.

Visitation will be at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and at the church from 1 p.m. Sunday until the services.

Mrs. Kumm was born Jan. 11, 1933, in Junction City, a daughter of the late Harold and Corrine Roselia Koch.

She was married to Allen H. Kumm on Sept. 1, 1952, at Bethany Lutheran in Sigel.

She worked in data processing and invoicing at Nekoosa Edwards Paper Co. and later Georgia Pacific.

She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Randall (Deb), Wisconsin Rapids, and Gary (Sue), Neenah; two daughters, Mary (Daniel) Nimtz, Rochester, Minn., and Sandra (Larry) Truchinski, Wisconsin Rapids; three brothers, Norman (Rebecca) Koch, Vermont, John (Sharon) Koch, Wisconsin Rapids, and James (Judy) Koch, Washington; one sister, Helen (Harvey) Overturf, Eagle River; six grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; one great-grandchild; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, David; and two brothers, Allen and Glenn Koch.
