| Norbert J. Kosobucki Norbert J. Kosobucki, 88, town of Franzen in Marathon County, husband of a former Rosholt woman, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway, with the Rev. Rex Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Galloway. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the services. Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home in Wittenberg assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.schmidtschulta.com. Mr. Kosobucki was born June 6, 1921, in Wausau, a son of the late Vincent and Helen (Albrent) Kosobucki. He was married to Loretta Frydach on June 5, 1943, in Rosholt. The couple dairy farmed in the town of Franzen in Marathon County until their retirement. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Men's Society and established the 4-H Club in Galloway. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Kathleen (Leroy) West, Schofield, Janice (Roger) Kohn, Wausau, Marlene (Sid) Bavlnka, Rochester, Minn., and Karen (John) Hall, Woodruff; one son, Jerome Kosobucki, town of Franzen; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Gerald; four brothers, Ray, Frank, Lawrence and Florian; and one sister, Zepherine. |
