Russell W. Koeppl, 72, Rosholt, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Rosholt, with the Rev. John Poffinbarger officiating. Interment will be in Alban Cemetery in the spring.
Visitation will be at the church from noon Saturday until the service.

Mr. Koeppl was born Feb. 26, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., a son of the late Charles and Anna (Hibsch) Koeppl.
He was married to Shirley Dobbe on June 1, 1963, in Arlington Heights, Ill. She died on Feb. 16, 2008.
He was a mechanic and owned gas stations. He also was an employee of the Arlington Heights Parks Department for 20 years until his retirement.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela (Dennis) Douglas, Rosholt; one son, Terry (Susan), Rolling Meadows, Ill.; one sister, Dolores (Bob) Bentz; one brother, Chuck Jr.; and five grandchildren.
