Erwin E. Cisewski

Erwin E. Cisewski, 72, town of Hull, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun, with the Rev. Wesley Janowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the services.

Mr. Cisewski was born May 24, 1937, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Phillip and Sally (Szablewski) Cisewski. He attended local schools.

He entered the United States Army on Nov. 9, 1960, in Milwaukee. He was a rifle marksman and was honorably discharged Dec. 7, 1966, at Fort Hood, Texas.

He then returned to the area.

He was married to Clara Feltz.

He worked for several farms in the area, including Firkus and Okray Farms. He sold produce on the Public Square and raised up to 25 red deer on his home property.

Survivors include three sons, James, Mosinee, Joseph (Ann), Amherst, and Carl (Mary Margaret Mmers), Stevens Point; one daughter, Bonnie (Russell) Krayecki, Sharon; five sisters, Patsy Filipiak, Junction City, Hedwig "Hattie" (Leo) Levandowski, Mosinee, and Florence (Benedict) Waldoch, Jane (Tony) Rucinski and Cathy (Kenneth) Grezenski, all of Stevens Point; seven brothers, Richard, Kenneth (Agnes), Albin (Grace), Harry (Ann), Eugene (Karen), Barney and Clarence (Jackie), all of Stevens Point; and eight grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur.
