| Dorothy M. Bruley Dorothy M. Bruley, 73, Pickerel, a Stevens Point native and sister of two Portage County residents, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau. A Funeral Mass will be held at noon Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel, with the Rev. Roger Strebel officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the Mass. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church Altar Society. Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo is assisting the family. Condolences may be offered online at www.bradleyfh.com. Mrs. Bruley was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late George and Bertha (Weir) Pitcher. She graduated from Amherst High School. She was married to Jerold "Jerry" Bruley on Jan. 14, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel and a member of the Pickerel Fire and Rescue Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Dawn House, Green Bay, and Lisa (Andrew) Schmude, Oshkosh; three sons, Mathew "Matt" (Christine), Green Bay, Scott (Jody), Suamico, and Donald "Don," Green Bay; two brothers, Donald (Patricia) Pitcher, Muskego, and Richard Pitcher, Stevens Point; two sisters, Beverly (Richard) Coulthurst, Almond, and Patricia (Norman) Gruna, Wittenberg; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jerome Pitcher. |
