| David J. Boursier David J. Boursier, 76, Plover, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Stevens Point. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the services. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mr. Boursier was born June 2, 1933, in the town of Buena Vista, a son of the late Byron and Doris (Beadle) Boursier. He attended local grade schools and P.J. Jacobs High School. He entered the United States Navy on Sept. 11, 1952, in Chicago, Ill. He was honorably discharged on Dec. 10, 1954, in Chelsea, Mass. He received the National Defense Service Medal. He was married to Jane Ann Sether in November 1956. The couple later divorced and remained close friends. He worked for Copps Corporation for more than 32 years as a truck driver. The last 10 years there he was the truck driver training instructor. He retired on July 28, 1995. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy (Mike) Gosh, Stevens Point, Patti (Jim) Oleson, Wisconsin Rapids, and Gale (Dave) Nelson, Plover; one son, Kurt, Plover; two brothers, John (Rose), Garden Grove. Calif., and Arthur (Jeanette), Stevens Point; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandson. |
