Jonathan A. "Big Jon" Allen, 24, 7525 County Road D, Amherst, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at his home after a battle with brain cancer. He was under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. John Paul Lobo officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Plover from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass. A parish rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials in his name will be established at a later date in lieu of flowers.

Mr. Allen was born June 21, 1985, in Stevens Point, a son of Donald and Karen (Kubicki) Allen. He attended Amherst High School, graduating in May of 2004.
He worked at Banta Manufacturing Company in Plover until his illness.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Karen Allen, Amherst; one sister, Nicole Allen, Menasha; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Ramona Kubicki, Stevens Point; his aunt and uncle, Tom and Diane Allen, Stevens Point; and his aunt, Bonnie Niewiadomski, Rosholt.
