Nettie (Omernik) Winkel, 88, a former Stevens Point resident, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, in Leesburg, Fla.
A memorial service was held at Grace Bible Baptist Church in Leesburg, Fla., with Pastor George Mulford officiating.
Donations in her name can be made to Grace Bible Baptist Church.
Mrs. Winkel was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Galloway, a daughter of the late Joseph and Theodora Omernik.
She was married to Leonard Winkel on Dec. 12, 1951, in Stevens Point.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Joe, San Leandro, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
