Harriet R. Wied, 77, Amherst, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with the Rev. Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the Lind Center Cemetery in the town of Lind in Waupaca County.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and again from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Mrs. Wied was born Nov. 9, 1932, in the town of Amherst, a daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Bonoski) Pavelski.
She was married to John "Jack" Wied on Dec. 16, 1948, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in the town of Lanark.
She was a farm wife.
She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Buena Vista.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Bonnie (Terry) Rogers, Janesville; one brother, Jerome (Doris) Pavelski, Corbin, Ky.; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two infant sons; one sister, Christine Inda; and one brother, Walter Pavelski Jr.
